The Stanford & Westenhanger History Society was thrilled to welcome 30 people to our inaugural meeting and talk.
Our Chair, Catharine Goodwin, opened the meeting with a brief introduction and update on our plans for future talks and visits. Information will be posted on our website and social media pages once all the details are confirmed.
She then handed over to our eminent speaker and expert, Duncan Harrington FSA, FSG, LHG, who gave a very detailed talk on the surviving records of the Church Courts of Kent with particular reference to East Kent.
